Our blame was framed on the wall to cover up the cracks.
(can you recall who was speaking last?)
It's a crime that the words don't align how they're supposed to.
It all depends where they end up - I've had enough.
I don't want to say that you are wrong but I'm right. It's the only piece of mind that I get. "It was over before it started."
You surely got what you wanted, I hope it tears you apart.
Our argument has bent all the words I said. This isn't what I meant and I just want this to end.
...and I know I am right this time.
I'll forgive all of your choices, turn off the voices, and forget that you exist. I never wanted it to be like this.
Such a complicated mess, we're a complicated mess.

I've had the same expression for years now, and I've found that you're not allowed to change here, but at least we've noticed.
I can't find a way out of this town.
I can't help but feel that I let you down.
We are ghosts. We're haunting all we know. We singing of our families, of all our proud parents.
Even places feel neglected, and you're far off in the distance pointing out the exits. When did you stop following so close behind?
State lines are canyons between us.
This is an upstate reverie how people aren't what they used to be. This is a revelation taken from a study of the valley where one day we'll live next to the highway. So, don't believe without looking up ahead, and don't you leave. It's never ever worth it.
